Summer is here and temperatures are really heating up.

We want you to receive your gummies intact so we’d like to inform you about our cool shipping option and other things you can do to make sure your gummies are received in the proper shape. For high temperature areas, we always recommend having your products shipped in our cooling envelopes along with an ice pack. (See shipping options.)

What Else Can You Do to Ensure Your CBD Gummies Don’t Melt?

We can’t control what happens when USPS drops it off to you. Mail boxes can be like an oven for your gummies, along with your front porch in the sun light.

Here are some ways to prevent your package from melting once it’s delivered:

1. Track your order closely. When you see that your package has arrived and you’re away from home, have a neighbor, friend, or family member collect your order.

2. Have your gummies delivered to your workplace to ensure you can collect your package as soon as it is delivered. Most workplaces collect mail indoors, so your gummies would most likely be sitting in an air conditioned environment.

3. Have your gummies shipped to a PO box with an air conditioned facility.

4. Arrange for your gummies to be shipped to a family member, friend, or neighbor who is home when you’re away.

CBD is short for cannabidiol. Cannabidiol is an extract from hemp. Our CBD contains NO THC.

THC hemp extract is THC derived from industrial hemp, not marijuana. Cannabinoids found in industrial hemp are nearly the same cannabinoids found in marijuana. The difference between them is that marijuana has been cultivated to naturally produce high levels of THC, while hemp has been cultivated for industrial use resulting in nearly zero THC.

Hemp-derived THC is similar to marijuana and can be concentrated by processing many hemp plants and extracting just those elements, producing a thick, sticky substance called THC hemp extract. You may have noticed a light filminess on your teeth after eating a hemp-derived THC gummy. That’s the hemp extract. It can be applied to flower, prerolls, wax, creams, capsules, vapes and, of course, gummies.

The hemp industry uses terms like “Delta-8 THC”, “THC-P” and even goes so far as to name some hemp-extract “Delta-9 THC”, you know, the stuff in marijuana, but the difference is that hemp-derived THC is lighter and does have the same, strong side effects that marijuana may produce.

Delta-8 THC is one of the many cannabinoids extracted from legal hemp.
Delta-8 THC from hemp is a distant cousin of Delta-9 THC, the main psychoactive element of cannabis/marijuana.
Delta-8 THC, however, is generally considered mild without the strong side-effects many experience from Delta-9 THC.
Delta-8 THC can be legally extracted from hemp without restriction in many states.
Delta-8 THC is extracted from hemp as a concentrate and then topically applied to various products such as edibles, prerolls, flowers and oils.
Delta-8 THC converts to potency through digestion, vaping and smoking.

Times may vary due to holidays, weekends, and unforeseen circumstances with the United States Postal Service. Generally, most free shipping orders are shipped first class mail and can take between 5 to 7 days to be delivered. Premium delivery usually takes 4-days to be delivered. PLEASE NOTE: These shipping times do not include processing and handling time. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for processing and handling in addition to shipping options. Thank you.

Returns
We do not accept returns. We will replace any item that is damaged or lost in transit.

USPS tracking is not always accurate and may not correctly reflect the status of your shipment. Please allow 1 to 2 days processing time plus the maximum number of days on your shipping method. (i.e. Free shipping is between 5 to 7 days.) The safe answer is no. Each state has its own laws and regulations surrounding cannabis and hemp-derived products. While your state may allow its use, the laws outside of your state may vary. There can also be confusion about whether a product is hemp or cannabis derived. For these reasons, it is better to avoid traveling with hemp-derived products outside of your state. This also applies to travel outside of the United States.

Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced in the body or it can be synthesized. Our melatonin is synthetic and not derived from animals. Some people are more sensitive than others to the effects of melatonin and a safe dose will depend on your body weight, age, and sensitivity. Taking too much supplementary melatonin may disrupt your sleep-wake cycle and cause other unwanted side effects.

Young children should not be given melatonin unless directed by a doctor.

In adults, the standard single dose is between 1 and 10 mg. It is generally considered better to start with a low dose increasing as necessary. Speak with your doctor if you experience unusual side-effects or if your sleep problems persist or worsen.

Our CBD gummies contain melatonin to aid with sleep and relaxation. For every 1 mg of CBD there is approximately .4 mg of melatonin. For example, our 250mg jar of gummies will contain approximately 100mg of melatonin per jar. (See: How do you measure milligrams of CBD?)

Our CBD gummies are measured by volume per container. For example, the 1000MG jar contains a total of 1000MG of CBD. The number of gummies in the container divided by the number of milligrams per jar provides a total approximate number of milligrams per gummy.

The effects of CBD and hemp extract can be subtle at first. It depends. Our CBD products do not contain any THC but some drug tests can’t differentiate cannabidiol from tetrahydrocannabinol. Therefore we cannot guarantee CBD will not show up. If you expect to take a drug test, we recommend not taking any CBD products.

Hemp is not marijuana and it will not get you ‘high.’ Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a commonly used term for cannabis sativa plant strains which contain no to very low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Our products contain less than .3% THC on a dry weight basis.

Many of our delicious gummies have hemp extract topically applied to the outside. Hemp extract can sometimes darken in color when exposed to light or variations in temperature. This is normal and can happen well within the gummies freshness threshold. While it may look unpleasant, the flavor and efficacy of the hemp extract gummy remains.
